The Ibis is a good basic hotel. Rooms are small as two double beds in the room. I noticed we had an adjoining room so good for families.

Service was excellent, especially Lauren (if I remember correctly) at the Reception. She took the effort to call me before checking in, to see whether I need anything before I checked in. Great location. However, some of the furniture needs to do more repairs. Soap inside the shower needs to be checked regularly.

The only complaint we have is that the air conditioning appeared to switch off in the early hours of the morning. Nothing I did seemed to get it working properly again. I mentioned to the staff member on the check in desk the evening before that there did seem to be a number of prior complaints about the same thing for this hotel. I was advised to let reception know if the air conditioning stopped working and they would have had maintenance look into it but I am not sure they would have been able to look at it at 3am in the morning.

This was definitely not a newly refurbished room as described. The stains on the carpet and headboard made the room seem very dirty. The soap dispenser had been ripped off the wall and just left with a piece of wall missing. Would definitely never stay here again.
